An Act to provide free state park and recreation area admission to current and former members of the South Dakota National Guard and their spouses and dependents. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota: Section 1. That § 41-17-13.4 be AMENDED: 41-17-13.4. [DELETED: Any South Dakota] [ADDED: An individual may obtain free admission to any state park or recreation area, provided the individual is a South Dakota] resident who [DELETED: receives] [ADDED: :] [ADDED: (1) Received ] a veteran allotment for a total disability [DELETED: which] [ADDED: that] is deemed a service-connected injury [] [ADDED: (2) Received] the United States Veterans' Administration K Award; [DELETED: any resident who was] [ADDED: (3) Was ] held as a prisoner of war; [DELETED: or any resident who has] [ADDED: (4) Has ] served on active duty in the armed forces of the United States [DELETED: or] [ADDED: and is classified by the Veterans Administration as totally disabled because of a service-connected injury;] [ADDED: (5) Has served] as a member of the armed forces reserve [DELETED: or the national guard who] [ADDED: and] is classified by the Veterans Administration as totally disabled [DELETED: as a result] [ADDED: because] of a service-connected injury [DELETED: may obtain free admission to any South Dakota state park or recreation area, and any such …
