A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the establishment of the housing Texas fund to be administered by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter I, Chapter 2306, Government Code, is amended by adding Section 2306.208 to read as follows: [ADDED: Sec.][ADDED: ][ADDED: 2306.208.][ADDED: ][ADDED: ][ADDED: HOUSING TEXAS FUND. (a) In this section, ] [ADDED: "fund" means the housing Texas fund.] [ADDED: (b)][ADDED: ][ADDED: ][ADDED: The housing Texas fund is created as a special fund in ] [ADDED: the state treasury.
