A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the establishment of the Texas Redistricting Commission to redistrict Texas congressional districts. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. The heading to Title 5, Government Code, is amended to read as ETHICS[ REDISTRICTING] SECTION 2. Title 5, Government Code, is amended by adding Subtitle C to read as follows: [ADDED: SUBTITLE C. REDISTRICTING] [ADDED: CHAPTER 581. TEXAS REDISTRICTING COMMISSION] [ADDED: SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS] [ADDED: Sec. 581.001. DEFINITIONS.
