No. 101 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Linda Huebner of the Bartlett Independent School District has been named the 2025 Region V Teacher of the Year and the 2025 State Teacher of the Year by the Family and Consumer Sciences Teachers Association of Texas; and WHEREAS, Each year, the FCSTAT awards pay tribute to exceptional family and consumer sciences educators; recognized for her achievements in teaching, curriculum development, and student engagement, Mrs. Huebner garnered the regional accolade and went on to earn the State Teacher of the Year honor, the highest teaching award bestowed by the association; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Huebner teaches a variety of Bartlett ISD FCS courses, including professional communications, family and community services, and interpersonal studies, as well as college-level child development and guidance studies through Temple College; in addition, she oversees the nationally recognized Bartlett ISD Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America chapter and the three-time state champion LifeSmarts team; and WHEREAS, Linda Huebner exemplifies the passion, determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Linda Huebner on …
