No. 165 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Scottie James Curry is celebrating her first birthday on September 26, 2025, to the great delight of her family; and WHEREAS, This precious little girl is the beloved daughter of Coleman and Ivy Curry, and she also benefits from the doting guidance of her grandparents, State Representative Pat Curry and Alicia Curry, Gina Curry, and Harold and Anne White; and WHEREAS, Scottie's first word was "haha," and she expresses her creativity in a number of ways that include making music with water bottles; moreover, she loves watching college football-- especially Louisiana State University games--as well as golf with her family; and WHEREAS, Over the course of the past year, Scottie Curry has brought tremendous joy to everyone around her, and it is a pleasure to join her loved ones in celebrating this significant milestone; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby honor Scottie James Curry on her first birthday and extend to her sincere best wishes for happiness and success in the future; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Scottie Curry and her family as an expression of high regard by …
