An Act, COMMENDING REPRESENTATIVE BRETT EASTERBROOK FOR DISTINGUISHED LEGISLATIVE SERVICE. WHEREAS, it is with highest admiration and deepest respect that we commend Brett Easterbrook, currently serving as a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 65, for his many accomplishments and dedicated service to the people of the State of Alabama; and WHEREAS, since his election in 2018, Representative Easterbrook has been a steadfast advocate for his constituents representing the people of Baldwin, Choctaw, Clarke, and Washington counties through his diligent work; and WHEREAS, Representative Easterbrook was born in Casper, Wyoming; he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Auburn University in 1989; and WHEREAS, before entering politics, he worked as an accountant for Mauldin & Jenkins from 1989 to 1991; he then worked as an Accounting Manager at Evonik Degussa from 1990 to 2000, followed by a position as Assistant Controller at the same company from 2002 to 2006; in 2009, he became Director of Finance and Controlling in North and South America for Outokumpu Stainless Steel; he also worked as a contractor for Easterbrook Homes from 2005 to 2009; and Page contractor for Easterbrook Homes from 2005 to 2009; and HJR306 Enrolled WHEREAS, Representative Easterbrook is married to his high school sweetheart, Betsy; they have been married for over 30 years and have …
