An Act, COMMENDING BRITTNEY RABENS ON BEING NAMED THE 2026 ARMED FORCES INSURANCE MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE MILITARY SPOUSE OF THE YEAR. WHEREAS, with great pride and special pleasure, we highly honor Brittney Rabens, who was named the 2026 Armed Forces Insurance Maxwell Air Force Base Military Spouse of the Year on February 9, 2026; and WHEREAS, noted for her extensive contributions to the Alabama military community, Mrs. Rabens is deserving of this great honor; she represents Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base on the Alabama Military Spouse Advisory Council, collaborating with state and installation partners to address quality of life issues affecting military families across the state; she also leads initiatives that support military families, including Operation Cookie Drop for Airmen during the holidays and partnerships with community organizations that provide bicycles and other support to military children and families; and WHEREAS, at Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base, she serves as the Key Support Liaison Mentor for the 42nd Air Base Wing, working alongside the Base Commander to support military families and advise command teams on family readiness, quality of life concerns, and effective communication; she also serves as Lead Red Cross Volunteer Page communication; she also serves as Lead Red Cross Volunteer HJR314 Enrolled for the Maxwell Medical Group, overseeing more than volunteers who support service members and their families, and …
