An Act, SJR___ COMMENDING THE 2026 EXCHANGE CLUB OF TUSCALOOSA LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER OF THE YEAR HONOREES. WHEREAS, it is with great pride and special pleasure that we highly commend the 2026 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year honorees by the Exchange Club of Tuscaloosa; and WHEREAS, on February 26, 2026, five distinguished public servants were honored by the Exchange Club of Tuscaloosa at its long-standing annual Officer of the Year ceremony at Synergic Center in Northport; and WHEREAS, Katherine Robertson, a general counsel from the Alabama Attorney General's Office, was the featured speaker for the ceremony; she recognized the officers for their exceptional professionalism, bravery, and dedication to the safety of the residents of Tuscaloosa County; and WHEREAS, the honorees were selected by their respective agencies for their dedication to hard work and service; these officers have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to justice, often working in high-stakes roles to protect their community and uphold the rule of law; and WHEREAS, the 2026 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year honorees include Officer Will Clark of The University of Alabama Police Department, Officer Dustin Burroughs of the Tuscaloosa Police Department, Trooper Kadarius Blakley of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency, Deputy Jeff Miller Page the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency, Deputy Jeff Miller SJR94 Enrolled of the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office, and …
