An Act, SJR___ COMMENDING DYLAN NUTT ON WINNING THE 2026 BASS PRO SHOPS BASSMASTER CLASSIC. WHEREAS, the Alabama Legislature takes great pride in recognizing outstanding achievements by individuals who bring honor and distinction to the great State of Alabama; and WHEREAS, Dylan Nutt has achieved one of the most prestigious accomplishments in the sport of professional bass fishing by winning the 2026 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Classic presented by Under Armour, universally regarded as the World Championship of Bass Fishing and the Biggest Stage in Bass Fishing; and WHEREAS, the Bassmaster Classic has served as the sport's premier championship event for more than five decades, showcasing the highest level of competitive bass fishing and attracting anglers and fans from across the nation and around the world; and WHEREAS, B.A.S.S., LLC, the organization that operates the Bassmaster Classic and governs professional bass fishing competition, is proudly headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, further strengthening the state's deep ties to the sport; and WHEREAS, Dylan Nutt is a collegiate angler representing the University of North Alabama, a program Page representing the University of North Alabama, a program SJR117 Enrolled known for producing some of the most talented young anglers in the sport today; and WHEREAS, through dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence, Dylan Nutt honed his competitive skills in the great State of …
