AN ACT ENTITLED "An Act designating the O-S Cross cabbage, commonly known as 'giant green cabbage,' as the official state vegetable; and providing for an effective date." BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: * Section 1. AS 44.09 is amended by adding a new section to read: Sec. 44.09.055. State vegetable. The O-S Cross cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata), commonly known as "giant green cabbage," is the official vegetable of the state. * Sec. 2.
