LAWS OF ALASKA Source Chapter No. CSHB 249(L&C) _______ Relating to the transfer of a vehicle to an insurance company. _______________ THE ACT FOLLOWS ON PAGE Enrolled HB Relating to the transfer of a vehicle to an insurance company. _______________ * Section 1. AS 28.10 is amended by adding a new section to read: Sec. 28.10.285. Transfer to insurance company. When the owner of a registered vehicle transfers or assigns the owner's title or interest to an insurance company after payment of damages, the supporting documents used to transfer ownership need not be notarized and may be signed electronically and printed. In this subsection, "supporting document" includes a power of attorney, duplicate title, and odometer disclosure forms. -1- Enrolled HB
