State of Arkansas 95th General Assembly Fiscal Session, 2026 HR 1043 By: Representatives Holladay, Steele HOUSE RESOLUTION TO RECOGNIZE THE NORTH LITTLE ROCK HIGH SCHOOL LADY CHARGING WILDCATS GIRLS' BASKETBALL TEAM AS THE 2026 CLASS 6A STATE CHAMPIONS. Subtitle TO RECOGNIZE THE NORTH LITTLE ROCK HIGH SCHOOL LADY CHARGING WILDCATS GIRLS' BASKETBALL TEAM AS THE 2026 CLASS 6A STATE CHAMPIONS. WHEREAS, the North Little Rock High School Lady Charging Wildcats girls' basketball team won the Class 6A state championship held at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on March 14, 2026; and WHEREAS, the Lady Charging Wildcats defeated the Har-Ber High School Wildcats by a score of forty-six (46) to forty (40); and WHEREAS, this was the sixth state title for the Lady Charging Wildcats, and their first state title since 2022; and WHEREAS, the Lady Charging Wildcats finished their season with a record of thirty wins and three losses (30-3); and WHEREAS, the Lady Charging Wildcat team members are Ja'liyah White, Elicia Shepherd, Jade Harrison, Katie Fimple, Krislynn Bryant, Layla Jouvenaux, Layla Smith, Lauren Brewster, Erika Shepherd, D'Shya Bunch, Mia Hopkins, Bailey Eason, Marley Adebayo, Nia Edwards, Da'liah Batemon, and Zoey *ZRC205* 04/23/2026 9:34:35 AM ZRC205 HR1043 McCall; and WHEREAS, Lady Charging Wildcat team member Elicia Shepherd was named the Most Valuable Player of the Class 6A state …
