Murdock SENATE RESOLUTION TO RECOGNIZE THE EARLE HIGH SCHOOL BULLDOGS BOYS' BASKETBALL TEAM AS THE 2025 AND 2026 CLASS 1A STATE CHAMPIONS. Subtitle TO RECOGNIZE THE EARLE HIGH SCHOOL BULLDOGS BOYS' BASKETBALL TEAM AS THE 2025 AND 2026 CLASS 1A STATE CHAMPIONS. WHEREAS, the Earle High School Bulldogs boys' basketball team won the 2025 Class 1A state championship at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs, Arkansas on March 15, 2025; and WHEREAS, in 2025, the Bulldogs defeated the Marked Tree Indians by a score of forty-eight (48) to forty-four (44); and WHEREAS, in 2025, the Bulldogs finished their season with a record of twenty-five wins and four losses (25-4); and WHEREAS, in 2025, the Bulldogs team members were Clifton Wren, Ta'ron Hurst, Dereck Lately Jr., Antonius Dorsey, Darion Maples, La'bryant Harris, Jordyn Williams, Dontay Bell, Henry Williams, Jayln Robinson, Aiden Davis, Nassir Doyle, and Tye Sanders; and WHEREAS, in 2025, the Bulldogs team managers were Detaveon Holmes and Zavion Maples; and *ZRC162* 04/08/2026 2:06:27 PM ZRC162 SR18 WHEREAS, in 2025, the Bulldogs were led by Head Coach Carl Miller, Assistant Coach Zena Witherspoon, and Assistant Coach Dale Walker; and WHEREAS, Head Coach Carl Miller said of the victory in 2025, "I'm so proud of these young men. …
