State of Arkansas 95th General Assembly Fiscal Session, 2026 HR 1026 By: Representative Richmond HOUSE RESOLUTION TO RECOGNIZE THE MANSFIELD HIGH SCHOOL TIGERS AS THE 2025 CLASS 3A FOOTBALL STATE CHAMPIONS. Subtitle TO RECOGNIZE THE MANSFIELD HIGH SCHOOL TIGERS AS THE 2025 CLASS 3A FOOTBALL STATE CHAMPIONS. WHEREAS, the Mansfield High School Tigers won the 2025 Class 3A state championship held on December 13, 2025, at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas; and WHEREAS, the Tigers won the championship game during their first-ever state championship appearance by besting the Fordyce High School Redbugs with a final score of forty (40) points to thirty (30) points (40-30); and WHEREAS, with their championship victory, the Tigers won their first state championship in program history and set a record for the most rushing yards in a state championship game, with four hundred eighty-nine (489) rushing yards; and WHEREAS, the Tigers completed the season with a perfect season record of fourteen wins and zero losses (14-0), and were the first team in program history to do so; and WHEREAS, the Tigers were back-to-back conference champions for the first time in program history; and *ZRC179* 04/14/2026 8:20:42 AM ZRC179 HR1026 WHEREAS, the Tigers scored the most points of any football program in Arkansas, across all classifications, with six hundred fifty-nine (659) points, set the …
