Murdock SENATE RESOLUTION TO RECOGNIZE THE EARLE HIGH SCHOOL LADY BULLDOGS GIRLS' BASKETBALL TEAM AS THE 2026 CLASS 1A STATE CHAMPIONS. Subtitle TO RECOGNIZE THE EARLE HIGH SCHOOL LADY BULLDOGS GIRLS' BASKETBALL TEAM AS THE 2026 CLASS 1A STATE CHAMPIONS. WHEREAS, the Earle High School Lady Bulldogs girls' basketball team won the Class 1A state championship held at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on March 12, 2026; and WHEREAS, the Lady Bulldogs defeated the West Side Greers Ferry Lady Eagles by a score of seventy-three (73) to fifty-four (54); and WHEREAS, this was the third state championship for the Lady Bulldogs, and their first since 2018; and WHEREAS, Earle High School swept both the boys' and girls' Class 1A state championship in 2026; and WHEREAS, the Lady Bulldogs finished their season with a record of thirty-four wins and two losses (34-2); and WHEREAS, the Lady Bulldogs team members are Madison Glaspie, Jada Maples, Journey Jefferson, Zaniyah Johnson, Aniyah Miller, Aryanna Perry, *ZRC161* 04/08/2026 2:06:14 PM ZRC161 SR19 Jada Cheers, Christian Boykin, Natalie Sanders, Madison Dunn, Kennedi Hinton, Madison Pounds, and Janaria Murry; and WHEREAS, team member Jada Maples was named the 1A state championship's Most Valuable Player; and WHEREAS, the Lady Bulldogs were led by …
