An act REQUIRING ANNUAL INSPECTIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF ELEVATORS AT SENIOR CITIZEN HOUSING FACILITIES. Assembly convened: That chapter 538 of the general statutes be amended to require annual inspections and maintenance of elevators at facilities housing senior citizens, including the filing of reports with the State Building Inspector that describe the status of any elevator repair and specify the duration of time during which any elevator is inoperable.
