Short, Yearick DELAWARE STATE SENATE 153rd GENERAL ASSEMBLY SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 88 CONGRATULATING THE CLASS OF 2024 EAGLE SCOUTS FOR HAVING ATTAINED THE HIGHEST RANK ONE CAN EARN IN SCOUTING AMERICA. WHEREAS, to earn the rank of Eagle Scout, a young person must earn Merit Badges in areas including First Aid, Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the World, Communication, Personal Fitness, Emergency Preparedness/Lifesaving, Environmental Science/Sustainability, Personal Management, Camping, Swimming/Hiking/Cycling, Family Life, and Cooking; and WHEREAS, this distinct honor requires fulfilling requirements in the areas of leadership, service, and outdoor preparedness, as well as advancing through the ranks of Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, and Life; and WHEREAS, this achievement carries with it a special significance both within scouting and beyond, as a Scout moves on to higher education, business or industry, and the world at large; and WHEREAS, the following 79 Delawareans achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2024: Bruce Abbott Nicholas Ables James Adair James Andrews Dominick Ayars Samantha Bargren Shane Bennett James Blair Gabriel Bowman Ian Campbell Aiden Casey Cayleb Catherman John Chakwin Nathan Chiou Joseph Clark Breandan Connor Gabriel Craig …
