A bill to be entitled An act relating to local government official salaries; amending ss. 145.051 and 145.09, F.S.; revising the base salaries used to calculate the compensation of a clerk of the circuit court and a county comptroller and the compensation of a supervisor of elections, respectively; providing an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: Section 1. Subsection (1) of section 145.051, Florida Statutes, is amended to county comptroller.-- (1) Each clerk of the circuit court and each county comptroller shall receive as salary the amount indicated, based on the population of his or her county. In addition, a compensation shall be made for population increments over the minimum for each population group, which shall be determined by multiplying the population in excess of the minimum for the group times the group rate.
