A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong is widely recognized as a visionary titan of business, global philanthropist extraordinaire, and trailblazing industrial pioneer whose transformative entrepreneurship and bold leadership have made a great impact on Ghana and beyond; and WHEREAS, rising from humble beginnings, Dr. Sarpong launched his entrepreneurial journey in the 1990s with the founding of Sarpong Ventures Ltd., quickly establishing a reputation for strategic brilliance and business acumen across the Central District of Accra through his success in the import and trading sector; and WHEREAS, he currently stands at the helm of the Special Group of Companies, commanding a net worth of $600 million and serving as a beacon of determination, resilience, and success in the global business landscape; and WHEREAS, Dr. Sarpong's strategic leadership extends to his role as Board Chairman of Best Point Savings and Loans Co.
