A RESOLUTION Honoring the life and legacy of Naomie Delva; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, the State of Georgia mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished citizens with the passing of Naomie Delva on January 5,2026; and WHEREAS, Naomie Delva was a woman of vision, character, and purpose whose life was marked by service, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting others; and WHEREAS, throughout her life, Naomie Delva exemplified excellence in entrepreneurship, community development, and mentorship, using her gifts and talents to empower individuals, families, and small businesses; and WHEREAS, she was widely respected for her integrity, compassion, and work ethic, and she consistently sought to create opportunities for economic growth, education, and positive social impact; and WHEREAS, Naomie Delva's influence extended far beyond her professional accomplishments, as she was a source of encouragement, wisdom, and inspiration to colleagues, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her; and H.
