A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Rick Roberts on his outstanding public service as the Mayor of Ball Ground; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Rick Roberts has long been recognized by the citizens of Ball Ground, Georgia, for the vital role that he has played in leadership and his deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and WHEREAS, he has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of his time, talents, and energy toward the betterment of his community and state, as evidenced dramatically by his superlative service as the mayor of Ball Ground; and WHEREAS, under his leadership the city has flourished; initiatives including the addition of a public library in the downtown area, expansion of the citywide water capacity and sanitary sewer systems, and construction of both a new city hall and elementary school will leave a lasting impact on the area; and WHEREAS, Rick Roberts' significant organizational and leadership talents, remarkable patience and diplomacy, keen sense of vision, and sensitivity to the needs of the citizens of H. R. 1041 LC 129 0530 Ball Ground have earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and associates; and WHEREAS, this distinguished gentleman has given inspiration to many through his high ideals, morals, and deep concern for his fellow citizens, and he possesses the vast wisdom …
