A RESOLUTION Honoring Kelsie "West Love" Davis for her musical achievements and positive representation of Valdosta, Georgia; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to recognize individuals whose talent, dedication, and perseverance bring distinction to their communities and serve as a source of pride and inspiration to others; and WHEREAS, West Love, professionally known by her stage name and born Kelsie Davis, is a nationally touring musical artist who was raised in Valdosta, Georgia, and whose journey reflects both the cultural richness and creative spirit of South Georgia; and WHEREAS, West Love began her musical foundation singing in church and local venues, developing a powerful and authentic voice that later evolved into a successful career in Southern soul, R&B, and blues music; and WHEREAS, through years of dedication and hard work, she has performed on stages across the United States, appearing at festivals, concerts, and tours, and sharing the stage with well-known artists within the Southern soul and blues genres; and H.
