A RESOLUTION Honoring the life of Mr. Marvin R. Adams and dedicating an intersection in his memory; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Mr. Marvin R. Adams has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital role that he has played in leadership and his deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and WHEREAS, Mr. Adams diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of his time, talents, and energy toward the betterment of his community and state as evidenced dramatically by his superlative service with the Fayette County Board of Commissioners; and WHEREAS, Mr. Adams served with honor and distinction with the Fayette County Board of Commissioners, and his vision and unyielding commitment helped establish the Fayette County Zoning Department; and WHEREAS, his significant organizational and leadership talents, his remarkable patience and diplomacy, his keen sense of vision, and his sensitivity to the needs of the citizens of this state earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and associates; and H. R. 1586 LC 39 5014 WHEREAS, for over 50 years, Mr. Adams' farm provided a wonderful place for the citizens of Fayette County and the surrounding areas to shop for fresh produce and fruits; and WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized …
