A RESOLUTION Honoring the life and memory of Reverend Dr. Sidney Holston; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, the State of Georgia mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished citizens with the passing of Reverend Dr. Sidney Holston; and WHEREAS, Reverend Dr. Sidney Holston was ordained as a minster in 1978, and was installed pastor of Pine Level Baptist Church in Junction City, Georgia, in 1984 after the passing of his father the late Reverend Oliver J. Holson; and WHEREAS, before he was ordained, Reverend Dr. Holston was a public school teacher in Haralson and Harris Counties and was a dedicated business owner; and WHEREAS, he was united in love and marriage to his wife, Isabelle, and was blessed with three remarkable children; and WHEREAS, Reverend Dr. Holston gave inspiration to many through his high ideals, morals, and deep concern for his fellow citizens, and the devotion, patience, and understanding he demonstrated to his family and friends were admired by others; and H.
