A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Gwinnett County Public Schools; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Gwinnett County Public Schools, the largest school district in the State of Georgia, serves nearly 180,000 students and is guided by a vision to become a system of world-class schools wherein each and every student acquires the academic knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in college, careers, and life; and WHEREAS, Gwinnett County Public Schools remains steadfast in its commitment to pursuing excellence in academic knowledge, skills, and behavior for every student while ensuring that students remain at the center of every decision made in support of teaching and learning; and WHEREAS, the students, educators, staff, families, and community partners of Gwinnett County Public Schools represent one of the most diverse and dynamic school communities in this state and exemplify the strength, resilience, and promise of public education; and WHEREAS, the district continues to advance rigorous and relevant learning opportunities through academics, career and technical education, fine arts, athletics, and specialized H.
