A RESOLUTION Commending Deputy Brice Richard Mattick; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Deputy Brice Richard Mattick has served with honor and distinction with the Paulding County Sheriff's Office since October 2021; and WHEREAS, he is an honest and dedicated public servant who strives for excellence in all of his endeavors and whose primary concern is the welfare and safety of the citizens of Paulding County; and WHEREAS, Deputy Mattick proudly participates in many community programs, including Paulding Meadows and Cops for Kids; and WHEREAS, he is highly regarded by the citizens of his community and by state and local government officials as a man of unquestioned integrity and dedication to the administration of justice and sound principles of law enforcement; and WHEREAS, this spirited law enforcement professional has exhibited extraordinary devotion to duty, outstanding loyalty, fine leadership, and meticulous attention to detail in all of his duties; and H. R. 1812 LC 129 1408 WHEREAS, Deputy Mattick's efficient and effective commitment to excellence has been recognized by his peers through the many decorations and awards he has received, including a Medal of Merit and a Purple Heart; and WHEREAS, Deputy Mattick is recognized for his extraordinary courage and unwavering dedication to service after sustaining a gunshot wound in the line of duty on April 17, 2025; and WHEREAS, his inspiring …
