A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Mariah HuQ; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Mariah HuQ is a nationally recognized media leader, entrepreneur, and philanthropist whose work reflects a deep commitment to community service, cultural integrity, and civic responsibility; and WHEREAS, raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Mariah developed an early passion for storytelling, leading her to pursue studies in communications at Tennessee State University and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga; and WHEREAS, she began her career in broadcast journalism as a video news editor and associate producer at WRCB-TV, Chattanooga's NBC affiliate; and WHEREAS, building on her experience in media, Mariah later transitioned into pharmaceutical and medical device sales while raising her family with her husband, Dr. Aydin HuQ; and WHEREAS, together, they are the proud parents of two children who embody their shared commitment to education and service; and H.
