A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the honorable service of Dexter L. Sharper and expressing gratitude for his many years of dedicated service to the citizens of the State of Georgia; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, the members of the Georgia House of Representatives wish to recognize the outstanding public service rendered by Dexter L. Sharper, who faithfully served the citizens of House District 177 with integrity, commitment, and leadership; and WHEREAS, Representative Sharper has devoted more than three decades of his life to public service, beginning with local leadership in Valdosta and Lowndes County and continuing through his service in the Georgia House of Representatives after being first elected in 2012; and WHEREAS, throughout his tenure in the General Assembly, Representative Sharper worked diligently to advocate for the people of his district, championing initiatives that strengthened communities, supported local institutions, and advanced opportunities for families and businesses across South Georgia; and H.
