A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Bruce Huff on his outstanding public service; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Bruce Huff has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital role that he has played in leadership and his deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and WHEREAS, he has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of his time, talents, and energy toward the betterment of his community and state, as evidenced dramatically by his 15 years of superlative service as part of the Columbus City Council; and WHEREAS, a lifelong resident of Columbus, Georgia, Bruce Huff has represented District 3 with distinction, helping to secure more than $300 million in infrastructure investments during his exemplary tenure; and WHEREAS, he further serves his community as a lifelong member of St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church, a Prince Hall Mason (Electric City Lodge No. 322), and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., among many other civic roles; and H.
