A RESOLUTION Honoring the life and memory of Kristen Morgan Whaley; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Kristen Morgan Whaley was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend whose life was marked by unwavering faith, genuine kindness, and a steadfast commitment to serving others; and WHEREAS, born on December 16, 1987, in Columbus, Georgia, Morgan lived a life of purpose and impact, touching countless lives until her passing on March 1, 2026; and WHEREAS, throughout her illness, she demonstrated extraordinary strength and grace, keeping her faith in the Lord at the center of her life and serving as an enduring example of courage, resilience, and positivity; and WHEREAS, a graduate of Sequoyah High School, Morgan continued her academic and athletic career at Reinhardt University, where she earned a degree in education and built lifelong friendships that would remain a treasured part of her life; and WHEREAS, athletics was an extension of her love for people and her constant support of everyone she encountered on the field, in the classroom, and throughout her life; and H.
