A RESOLUTION Commending the Middle Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office and the Emanuel County Sheriff's Office; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, the Middle Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office and the Emanuel County Sheriff's Office collaborated to arrest and federally indict four individuals on child sex trafficking charges; and WHEREAS, the Middle Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office specifically recognized District Attorney Tripp Fitzner and Chief Investigator Rocky Davis; and WHEREAS, the Emanuel County Sheriff's Office specifically recognized Sheriff Jeffrey Brewer and Investigator Michael Reddish for their roles; and WHEREAS, the Middle Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office and the Emanuel County Sheriff's Office conducted a week-long investigation into a child sex trafficking operation in November 2025; and WHEREAS, District Attorney Tripp Fitzner and Sheriff Jeffrey Brewer combined offices and resources, thereby following the case from Emanuel County to Savannah and Atlanta; and H. R. 2016 LC 112 4167 WHEREAS, authorities arrested four local individuals connected to the trafficking and exploitation of five minor victims; and WHEREAS, the Middle Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office and the Emanuel County Sheriff's Office were recognized by United States Attorney General Pam Bondi for their outstanding work in this case.
