A RESOLUTION Honoring the life and legacy of Mrs. Thelma Crawford Scott; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Mrs. Thelma Crawford Scott was born on August 28, 1928, in Wilmot, Arkansas, to the late Theo Crawford and Bessie Holmes, and she lived a life defined by faith, love, and unwavering devotion to her family and community; and WHEREAS, at an early age, she accepted Christ and was baptized at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Camden, Arkansas, establishing a strong spiritual foundation that guided her throughout her life; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Scott was united in holy matrimony to her beloved husband, Elbert Scott, and together they built a strong and loving family, raising six children and instilling in them the values of faith, perseverance, and compassion; and WHEREAS, she was known for her warm and infectious smile, her welcoming spirit, and her ability to make everyone she encountered feel loved and valued, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her; and H.
