A RESOLUTION Commending Brynn Proctor, Model High School's 2026 STAR Student; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, a gifted student at Model High School, Brynn Proctor has been recognized for superlative achievement and selected as Model High School's 2026 STAR Student; and WHEREAS, to be selected as a STAR Student, a student must have obtained the highest score in one administration of the three-part Scholastic Aptitude Test and be in the top percent or top ten students of his or her class; and WHEREAS, each school has one STAR Student who in turn has the opportunity to choose a STAR Teacher who has been inspiring and encouraging throughout that student's high school career; and WHEREAS, educator Kelly Goldin was chosen by Brynn as Model High School's 2026 STAR Teacher for the great support and guidance provided throughout the years; and WHEREAS, Brynn has personified the selfless dedication, mental agility, verbal adroitness, and personal maturity necessary for superlative academic performance; and H. R. 2117 LC 129 1550 WHEREAS, a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most important objective of the General Assembly, and Brynn has shown by academic accomplishment that the pursuit and attainment of scholastic success are within the reach of the students in this state; and WHEREAS, the State of Georgia looks with …
