A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Bessie W. Poole upon her retirement; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Bessie W. Poole has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and WHEREAS, she has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her time, talents, and energy toward the betterment of her community and state as evidenced dramatically by her 23 years of superlative service with Georgia Power Company; and WHEREAS, throughout her career as a Senior Support Specialist, Bessie handled countless responsibilities with precision and care; and WHEREAS, her significant organizational and leadership talents, remarkable patience and diplomacy, keen sense of vision, and sensitivity to the needs of the citizens of this state have earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and associates; and WHEREAS, in addition to her work with Georgia Power Company, Bessie has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to serving her community through her work with organizations such S.
