A RESOLUTION Commending Marcayla Thomas for her outstanding service as a legislative intern; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Marcayla Thomas is a graduate student at Seton Hall University pursuing dual master's degrees in public administration and diplomacy and international relations; and WHEREAS, she has achieved notable academic distinction, earning three bachelor's degrees in international affairs, Asian studies, and Black studies along with minors in Korean and political science, a certificate in homeland security and intelligence, and a specialization in international law; and WHEREAS, Marcayla Thomas has demonstrated a strong commitment to public service through her academic research and professional experience in legislative affairs, legal administration, and policy analysis, with research interests including international legal systems, the geoeconomics of Burkina Faso's development, and culturally informed governance; and S.
