A RESOLUTION Commending the Atlanta Fire Cricket Club as the proud home team of Atlanta, Georgia, and recognizing its 2025 Minor League Cricket National Championship; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Atlanta businessman Mohammed Hasan Tarek established the Atlanta Fire Cricket Club in 2018--as a former president of the Bangladesh Sports Federation of Georgia, he played a vital role in the growth and development of cricket in the Atlanta community, transforming his vision into one of the premier professional cricket organizations in the United States; and WHEREAS, the Atlanta Fire Cricket Club's core mission is to elevate the game of cricket in the United States while representing the City of Atlanta as a leading hub for the sport--the organization upholds the highest standards of excellence both on and off the field through visionary leadership, dedicated management, and a diverse roster of international and domestic talent; and WHEREAS, the team's championship season builds upon a strong legacy of success, with prior tournament victories across the United States including the 2025 Houston Open Tournament; 2021 LA Open; 2019 Desmond Lewis Tournament; 2019 2X Tournament; and S.
