A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Robert T. "Terry" Dickerson, a distinguished and longtime resident of Cherokee County, Georgia, for his lifetime of service, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to his family and community; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, Robert T. "Terry" Dickerson has long been recognized by the citizens of Cherokee County as a man of integrity, humility, and quiet strength whose life reflects the very best values of our state and nation; and WHEREAS, he honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1969, demonstrating courage, patriotism, and a deep commitment to the freedoms we hold dear; and WHEREAS, following his military service, Terry Dickerson devoted his life to providing for his family, embodying the values of responsibility, sacrifice, and selflessness by working whatever jobs were necessary to ensure their well-being; and WHEREAS, known for his extraordinary and unmatched work ethic, he routinely worked 16 to 18 hours a day, seven days a week, never complaining but instead leading by example and showing that true character is revealed through perseverance and dedication; and S.
