A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Santos Taqueria Express; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, since March 2002, Santos Taqueria Express has served the people of McDonough authentic Mexican food and earned a treasured place in Henry County; and WHEREAS, what began as a simple dream has grown into a thriving small business through the dedication and tireless work of Fulgencio Santos and Elizabeth Santos; and WHEREAS, their story reflects the very heart of the American dream--that through faith, family, and hard work, ordinary people can build something extraordinary and leave their community better than they found it; and WHEREAS, for more than 20 years, they have opened their doors each day to feed families, welcome every guest as a neighbor, and bring genuine care to every meal they serve; and WHEREAS, Santos Taqueria Express embodies the spirit of the small businesses that give a community its character, its warmth, and its heart; and H. R. 42EX LC 112 4334 WHEREAS, children who first came through its doors as little ones have grown up and returned as adults, strangers have become regulars, and regulars have become family.
