A RESOLUTION Honoring the life and memory of Ava Olivia Derbecker and Faris Vincent Derbecker; and for other purposes. WHEREAS, the State of Georgia mourns the tragic loss of Ava Olivia Derbecker and Faris Vincent Derbecker, beloved sister and brother whose kindness, joy, and loving spirits enriched the lives of all who knew them; and WHEREAS, Ava Olivia Derbecker was born on May 2, 2013, and Faris Vincent Derbecker was born on December 14, 2016, and throughout their lives, they brought immeasurable happiness to their family, friends, teammates, teachers, and community; and WHEREAS, Ava was admired by her friends and family for her gracious nature, compassionate heart, and fierce devotion to those she loved, and she possessed a rare ability to uplift others through her encouragement, loyalty, and genuine care; and WHEREAS, her passion for soccer exemplified the qualities that defined her character, for she approached both competition and friendship with determination, support, and a sincere commitment to those around her; and H.
