HR1010LRB104 22605 RMO 39052 r HR1010 LRB104 22605 RMO 39052 r HR1010 LRB104 22605 RMO 39052 r HOUSE RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Tom and Michelle Braxton on the joyous milestone of their 50th wedding anniversary on June 26, 2026; and WHEREAS, Tom and Michelle Braxton were joined in matrimony on June 26, 1976; and WHEREAS, Tom and Michelle Braxton have faced life's joys and sorrows together with the strength that comes from abiding love and mutual devotion; and WHEREAS, Tom and Michelle Braxton's enduring marriage is an inspiration, and they are among an exceptional group of individuals who can claim such a lasting commitment; therefore, be it RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Tom and Michelle Braxton on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend our warmest wishes for their continued happiness in the years to come; and be it further HR1010- 2 -LRB104 22605 RMO 39052 r HR1010 - 2 - LRB104 22605 RMO 39052 r HR1010 - 2 - LRB104 22605 RMO 39052 r RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Tom and Michelle Braxton as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
