HR1015LRB104 23037 ECR 39491 r HR1015 LRB104 23037 ECR 39491 r HR1015 LRB104 23037 ECR 39491 r HOUSE RESOLUTION WHEREAS, September 17, 2026 marks the 239th anniversary of the drafting of the Constitution of the United States of America at the Constitutional Convention; and WHEREAS, It is fitting and proper to accord official recognition to this magnificent document and its memorable anniversary and to the patriotic celebrations that will commemorate the occasion; and WHEREAS, The General John Stark Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution are a diverse group of patriotic women who share a common bond of heritage with an ancestor who served or aided the American cause during the American Revolution, and these members also share a passion for God, home, and country; and WHEREAS, The Constitution of the United States has stood the test of time and remains an example to the rest of the world of an effective framework for a free society; and WHEREAS, Public Law 915, passed by the 84th Congress in 1956, authorizes the President of the United States to designate September 17 through September 23 as Constitution Week; therefore, be it HR1015- 2 -LRB104 23037 ECR 39491 r HR1015 - 2 - LRB104 23037 ECR 39491 r HR1015 - 2 - LRB104 23037 ECR 39491 r RESOLVED, BY THE …
