HR1053LRB104 23550 ECR 40030 r HR1053 LRB104 23550 ECR 40030 r HR1053 LRB104 23550 ECR 40030 r HOUSE RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to commend Enoch Muhammad on his dedicated service to community development and advancement for more than 30 years; and WHEREAS, Enoch Muhammad is an artist, an author, an educator, a hip-hop empowerment specialist, a facilitator, a teacher, a trainer, a change agent, and a servant leader whose life's work has centered on the holistic human development (HHD) of young people, men, families, educators, and communities through the integration of leadership, social-emotional development, healing-centered and trauma-informed practice, cultural identity, emotional regulation, critical thinking, conflict resolution, wellness, violence prevention, responsibility, family and community connection, and future readiness; and WHEREAS, Enoch Muhammad attended Olive-Harvey College, during which he served in student leadership, and received a degree in speech communication from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where he helped organize students and community residents to participate in the historic Million Man March in 1995, and he is currently earning his graduate degree in urban community studies; and HR1053- 2 -LRB104 23550 ECR 40030 r HR1053 - 2 - LRB104 23550 ECR 40030 r HR1053 - 2 - LRB104 23550 ECR 40030 r WHEREAS, Enoch Muhammad and his wife, Kesha Wells, launched Operation Cultivation as an eight-week …
