Gore, Bartels _______________________, read first time and referred to Committee on 2026 HC 1015/DI Introduced Second Regular Session of the 124th General Assembly (2026) HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION No. ____ A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION honoring Sergeant Terry Frye. Whereas, Sergeant Terry Frye passed away at the age of on Friday, November 14, 2025, in a car crash on Interstate in Boone County; Whereas, Sergeant Frye was born September 19, 2002, in Frankfort, Indiana, to Jonathan Frye and Susan Stocker; Whereas, Sergeant Frye graduated from Frankfort Senior High School in 2021, and he had been serving in the United States National Guard since March 2020; Whereas, During his five years of service, Sergeant Frye earned the National Defense Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon; Whereas, Sergeant Frye is survived by his parents, his sisters, Lily and Ivy, his fiancée, Leann Smith, and his son, Cassius Sylas Frye; and Whereas, Sergeant Frye strongly believed his duty was to serve his country, community, friends, and family, and he joined the Indiana National Guard to protect his country at home: Therefore, Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana, the Senate concurring: 2026 HC 1015/DI SECTION 1.
