*HR1519* Introduced Version HOUSE RESOLUTION No. ___ Introduced by: Shackleford ____________________________________ A HOUSE RESOLUTION honoring the Indy Thunder beep baseball team. Whereas, The Indy Thunder organization provides opportunities for visually impaired individuals to participate in organized sports, including exhibition games, and engages in public speaking to educate the broader community on the capabilities of individuals who are visually impaired; Whereas, The Indy Thunder secured its sixth National Beep Baseball Association World Series championship by completing the 2025 season with an undefeated 26-0 record, a remarkable achievement that exemplifies the team's discipline, hard work, and exceptional skill; Whereas, The team has earned six national championships in nine years, demonstrating the collective dedication of its HR 1519/DI 140 2026 players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters, most notably Head Coach Darnell Booker, whose vision and leadership have propelled the organization to sustained success; and Whereas, The Indy Thunder beep baseball team has displayed outstanding athletic excellence, steadfast leadership, and unwavering commitment to inclusion within the visually impaired community: Therefore, Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana: SECTION 1.
