*HR1526* Introduced Version HOUSE RESOLUTION No. ___ Introduced by: Steuerwald ____________________________________ A HOUSE RESOLUTION honoring Representative Brad Barrett. Whereas, Representative Brad Barrett, who was first elected to represent the citizens of House District 56 in 2018, will retire from the Indiana House of Representatives at the conclusion of the 2026 legislative session, marking eight years of dedicated public service; Whereas, During his tenure in the Indiana General Assembly, Representative Barrett has faithfully served as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives; Whereas, Representative Barrett has held numerous leadership positions, including serving as Chair of the Public Health Committee, Chair of the Medicaid Oversight Committee, and Chair of the Health Care Cost Oversight Task Force HR 1526/DI 140 2026 among other interim committees; Whereas, In addition to his leadership roles, Representative Barrett has served as a member of the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee and the Insurance Committee, and he previously served on the Ways and Means Committee; Whereas, Throughout his legislative career, Representative Barrett has been a steadfast advocate for policies protecting the sanctity of life, supporting legislation that reflects Indiana's commitment to the value of human life; Whereas, Representative Barrett played a pivotal role in Governor Eric Holcomb's statewide evidence-based health initiative, applying data-driven principles to improve health outcomes, especially concerning access, quality, and affordability for Hoosiers; Whereas, …
