*HR1555* Introduced Version HOUSE RESOLUTION No. ___ Introduced by: Clere, Engleman ____________________________________ A HOUSE RESOLUTION honoring the Floyd Central High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps Rifle Team. Whereas, The Floyd Central High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) rifle team won the NJROTC Precision Rifle National Championship for the second consecutive year; Whereas, The Floyd Central High School NJROTC rifle team is known for exceptional marksmanship and consistently demonstrates its excellence in shooting competitions; Whereas, Its members shoot with air rifles in three positions: prone, kneeling, and standing, allowing them to learn and demonstrate precision and accuracy while following strict safety protocols; HR 1555/DI 140 2026 Whereas, The Civilian Marksmanship Program, in cooperation with the Missouri Marksmanship Education Center, hosted the NJROTC National Championships at its new state-of-the-art training facility in Columbia, Missouri, from February 12 to February 14; Whereas, Fifty-one sporter teams and 20 precision teams gathered from across the country to compete for national honors.
