YODER , read first time and referred to Committee on 2026 DR 3850/DI aj Introduced Second Regular Session 124th General Assembly (2026) SENATE RESOLUTION ____ MR. PRESIDENT: I offer the following resolution and move its adoption: A SENATE RESOLUTION honoring Diane Masariu Carter. Whereas, Diane Masariu Carter has been a presence at the Indiana Statehouse as a staff member and advocate for fifty years; Whereas, Before joining Faegre Drinker Consulting, Diane Masariu Carter worked at the Statehouse for thirty-one years, including as Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives during the 2003 and 2004 Legislative Sessions; Whereas, Diane Masariu Carter also served as Policy Director for the Indiana House Democratic Caucus and as Administrative Assistant for two House Speakers and other Democratic Leaders; Whereas, Diane Masariu Carter steadfastly participates in her community through civic activities such as being a member of the St. Christopher Catholic Parish, a past member of the Parks Board of the Town of Speedway, and has been the recipient of numerous advocacy awards; 2026 DR 3850/DI aj Whereas, In 2004, Diane Masariu Carter was awarded a Sagamore of the Wabash by Governor Joe Kernan; Whereas, In 2023, Diane Masariu Carter was awarded the Allen C.
