POL , read first time and referred to Committee on 2026 DR 3846/DI ol Introduced Second Regular Session 124th General Assembly (2026) SENATE RESOLUTION ____ MR. PRESIDENT: I offer the following resolution and move its adoption: A SENATE RESOLUTION honoring Senator Andrea Hunley on her retirement. Whereas, Senator Andrea Hunley has served as a member of the Indiana Senate from the 46th District since 2022, becoming the Assistant Minority Leader in 2024; Whereas, Senator Hunley earned her bachelor's in secondary education and teaching from Indiana University Bloomington in 2006, a master's degree in education from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 2010, and a certificate from the Prospective Principal's Academy at IU Bloomington in 2011; Whereas, Before serving in elected office, Senator Hunley was deeply involved in education as a public school teacher, working as a K-8 public school principal with Indianapolis Public Schools, an assistant principal with Metropolitan School District of Washington Township, and as a high school English teacher with the Metropolitan School District of Wayne Township; 2026 DR 3846/DI ol Whereas, Senator Hunley is passionate about legislation that has generation impact on the health and wealth of individuals and communities, and she pursued that passion as a member …
