A BILL FOR An Act creating temporary class "A" beer permits authorizing native breweries to manufacture and store beer off premises, and providing fees. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA: TLSB 5159YH (5) jm/ns H.F. 2067 Section 1. Section 123.130, subsection 3, Code 2026, is amended to read as follows: 3. All class "A" premises shall be located within the state. All beer received by the holder of a class "A" beer permit from the holder of a certificate of compliance before being resold must first come to rest on the licensed premises of the permit holder, must be inventoried, and is subject to the barrel tax when resold as provided in section 123.136. A class "A" beer permittee shall not store beer overnight except on unless the premises are licensed under a class "A" beer permit or authorized under a permit issued pursuant to section 123.130A. Sec. 2. NEW SECTION. 123.130A Temporary class "A" beer permits for native breweries ---- manufacture and storage ---- fee. 1. A native brewery holding a class "A" beer permit may apply for a temporary class "A" beer permit under this section. 2.
