A BILL FOR An Act appropriating moneys to support a water quality monitoring network supervised by the Iowa flood center. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA: TLSB 6593YH (2) sb/js H.F. 2408 Section 1. IOWA FLOOD CENTER ---- APPROPRIATION. There is appropriated from the general fund of the state to the state board of regents for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027, the following amount, or so much thereof as is necessary, to be used for the purposes designated: For purposes of supporting a water quality monitoring network under the supervision of the Iowa flood center of the state university of Iowa: .................................................. $ 600,000 EXPLANATION The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with the explanation's substance by the members of the general assembly. This bill appropriates moneys from the general fund of the state to the state board of regents for FY 2026-2027 for purposes of supporting a water quality monitoring network under the supervision of the Iowa flood center of the state university of Iowa.
